Hello and welcome to my blog! My name's Mikaela, and I am a 21 year old undergraduate student from Vancouver, studying business. Outside of this, I enjoy getting outdoors, reading, writing, yoga, music, and bad reality TV.
Although a business student, I was required to sign up for two science courses to fill my breadth requirements. I reluctantly chose "Contemporary Health" and "Issues in Nutrition". However, as someone who has always been greatly interested in personal development and continuous growth, these courses actually ended up being two of my favourites! And as a result, I developed a strong interest and curiousity for health and wellness.
Therefore, I'm excited to start this blog and create a space where together we will further explore 4 components of health - physical, emotional, social, and intellectual. Over the course of the next four months I will be posting some of my current practices, some "best" practices, and some cool ones i'd like to try out!
Remember, there is no best or perfect way to "be healthy" - so lets try new things and have some fun with it 🙂
