Emotional health, like intellectual health, is a part of our overall mental health. However, emotional health specifically focuses on our awareness of and ability to cope with both positive and negative emotions, as well as challenges that life may throw your way.
Similar to intellectual health, one’s emotional health is tied tightly to the other components.
Being “emotionally healthy” does not mean being happy all the time, in fact, it is far “healthier” for one to be able to identify, experience, and control their varying emotional responses.
